Spot Excision
The robotic spot cutter enables automated excision of
gel plugs from one or two-dimensional gels into 96 well
microtiter plates. Relative to manual excisions procedures
it can give enhanced sample tracking and lower contamination.
New users will require training before being allowed to
use the equipment. Registered users can book time on the
spot cutter using the online calendar.

Trypsin Digest, C-18 Sample Clean-up and MALDI Target
Spotting
Using
the Multiprobe liquid handling robot automated trypsin
digestion, ZipTip clean-up of the digested peptides and
automated spotting to the MALDI targets is now available.
