Focusing
The
facility is equipped to run 7, 11, 17cm or 24cm 2D gels.
The first dimension, using a range of Immobilised pH gradients,
are focused using one of four BioRad IEF cell or a Pharmacia
Multipohore. Registered users can book a session by clicking
on the link to the appropriate calendar:
SDS-PAGE
A wide variety of SDS-PAGE gels, including gradient
gels, can be run using the mini-protean, criterion protean
II XL and Dodeca cell tanks.
With
the four Protean II XL tanks and the Dodeca Cell registered
users can book then by clicking on the appropriate link:
Gel Blotting
The facility has a semi-dry blotter, a criterion blotter
and Trans-Blot cell.
